About
Jane Lombard Gallery was founded in New York in 1995 as Lombard-Freid Projects. Currently located in TriBeCa, the gallery has maintained its commitment to the work of emerging, mid-career, and established contemporary artists working across media and disciplines.
Since its founding in 1995, Jane Lombard Gallery has established itself as a distinguished venue for contemporary art in New York City. Originally launched as Lombard Freid Projects in SoHo, the gallery quickly became known for its forward-thinking approach, showcasing artists whose work resonates with the pressing cultural, social, and political issues of our time. Over nearly three decades, Jane Lombard Gallery has cultivated a reputation for its rigorous, scholarly approach to curating a diverse and international roster of artists. These artists, working across a wide array of media—including painting, sculpture, photography, installation, and film—are united by their commitment to challenging and expanding the boundaries of artistic and socio-political discourse.
