The exhibition explores notions of time and place. Frida Escobedo presents her work Lo Otro (2018) to establish relationships with two pieces from the series Sunpath (1999) by Francis Alÿs and a painting from the series Today (1981) by the conceptual artist On Kawara.
Lo Otro consists of 21 panes of glass taken from the windows of a ruinous modernist building from the 1970s in the Colonia Juárez and displayed in a row, revealing the traces of the passage of time on its almost non-transparent surfaces.
